I was born and raised in North Philadelphia, graduating from Lincoln University with a BS in Health Science. I’ve been a member of Omega Psi Phi fraternity Beta Chapter since the Spring of 1997.
Their motto centers me as a nurse: Friendship is essential to the soul. It’s one of the fraternity’s cardinal principles, along with scholarship and perseverance—ways that we uplift our communities.
In 2016, I graduated from Chester County Intermediate Unit, Downingtown, PA, as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 2016. Since then I have worked in various nursing home facilities in the Philadelphia area, as well as with special needs children and assisting families with their needs and concerns. I have also mentored inner city youth and supported community leaders in projects geared towards nonviolence in our city.
While working with patients, I seek to provide the best possible nursing care to those I serve and care for. When working with peers and co-workers, we work as a team to provide patient-centered care with dignity, humility and a HeartFelt mindset.
I take pride in being a Nurse!
