I am excited to start The HeartFelt Group as one of the founders. As a Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of nursing experience, I feel I will be an asset to various nursing facilities as well as a source of support for our employees. Since starting my nursing career as a CNA, I’ve worked in multiple Philadelphia nursing homes as a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner providing medical support—and I’ve observed many patients in need of psychiatric support and care.
I am a member of the Western Shoshone “Newe" Indian tribe from Northeastern Nevada; our culture honors our Elders, which prompted me to work with the geriatric population in different settings. Working as a Nurse Practitioner is very rewarding—I thoroughly enjoy working with patients, providing support and care to them psychiatrically, medically and in a HeartFelt manner.
